Since the beginning of the war, the Vulnerable People Project (VPP) has been on the ground in Gaza helping children, pregnant mothers, and the elderly to evacuate, calling for a cease fire, and advocating & delivering food to Palestinian Christians. For the last month, we've been delivering water every 72 hours to the last Catholic community in Gaza. At Holy Family Church, there are 450 Christians who have, so far, survived the war, are living at the compound, and are desperate for water.
Last week, the Church was hit directly by IDF shells. Three people were killed. Dozens wounded. And the water tank was destroyed.
It will cost $120,000 to buy and deliver a new steel water tank.
