The Vulnerable People Project (VPP) is one of the only NGOs still serving Christians and orphans in Palestine. During the war, we rescued the vulnerable and provided food and water to hundreds of Christians sheltering at the two remaining churches. After the war, we've stepped up to provide hundreds of tents and firewood to Palestinian Christians who have lost their homes. We continue to send food, baby formula, as well as educational programs to orphans camps. But more must be done.Thousands of children lost limbs during the war. So, VPP has partnered with the Bethlehem Arab Society Hospital to use 3D printer technology to create prosthetic limbs for wounded children.
We must raise $1,250,000 this year to provide 400 orphans with prosthetic limbs. A limb will provide so much more than a way to hold fork or run...it will provide dignity and hope. It will show some of the world's most forgotten...that they are loved.
Each limb costs about $2,500 to create and fit onto a child. So, can you pitch in?
